Blood Moon - 4ply/Sock

There's something almost otherworldly about this colourway. Blood Moon is a deep, burnished copper orange that glows from within, the exact colour of a full moon hanging low on the horizon on a clear autumn night. Warm, intense, and completely captivating.

Unlike the more complex colourways in the collection, Blood Moon is beautifully focused. The tonal variation is subtle and confident, shifting between a richer, darker copper and a softer terracotta in a way that gives the skein real luminosity without any drama. It doesn't need it. This colour does everything it needs to do all on its own.

100% merino wool, hand-dyed. The silky, fine quality of this yarn makes Blood Moon particularly stunning in projects where the fabric catches the light. A lacy shawl, a drapey cowl, anything where the yarn moves and the colour shifts as it does. It would also knit up beautifully in a classic fitted sweater where that glowing copper tone can really make an impression.
